Subject : Katana shops
Question: I read that the traditional tempered steel Samurai swords were banned in Japan after World War - II. So, Are the Katana's we buy in martial arts shops and on the internet some sort of knock-offs and not true "traditional" Japanese Katana? Where can I find some "traditional" Japanese Katana made by an authentic master sword maker?
Reply: Sadly it is true
To buy a real blade today you must have a connection or know a collector.
Once you have found the blade of your choice ,get it appraised and valued.

I suggest www.collectorsfirearms.com for apprassials.

They are simply the best and most honest ,ask for Mike Clark.
I buy and sell my Swords there.

Please stay away from the Internet for Swords ,most are all fake and replica of authentic.
