Subject : Training
Question: I am just wondering what kind of conditioning exercises should I do to get ready for a fight or tournament?
Reply: I thank you for asking such a important question, being a tournament fighter you have to be in pretty good shape.I have fought for four decades and around the world and as international fighter I would say you have to be in great physical shape, run, run, run, sprint this is a on and off process since you might be fighting 3 or 4 matches.
I believe the best conditioning starts with your mental skills, knowing you can beat your opponent no matter what his hype is or his rep or past with you.
When it comes down and it is 2 to 2 and next point wins the GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP,
IT IS YOUR MENTAL SKILLS THAT OVERCOME YOUR ADVERSARY NOT YOUR PHYSICAL SKILLS.It all comes down to balance making both your conditioning physical and mental for the win.
