I am just wondering what kind of conditioning exercises should I do to get ready for a fight or tournament?
Most of us have heard of the legendary founder of modern Karate Gichin Funakoshi. But, I'm curious to know who are some of the living masters in Okinawa today?
Taekwondo has been a part of the Olympics for a while. Chinese Wushu is a new addition in the Beijing Olympics next year. What kind of training regimen did Bruce Lee use to develop his Physique? I mean the man looked thin and ordinary. But when his shirt comes off you see the well defined muscles. Most martial artists who train weights today tend to develop bulkier muscles which slow them down. This man was muscular, yet fast and not "bulky" like a bodybuilder.

I read that the traditional tempered steel Samurai swords were banned in Japan after World War - II. So, Are the Katana's we buy in martial arts shops and on the internet some sort of knock-offs and not true "traditional" Japanese Katana? Where can I find some "traditional" Japanese Katana made by an authentic master sword maker?
